To my future self: I have many thoughts running in my head. They range from entrepreneurial dreams to personal reflections. I need and want a place to store all these thoughts so that I can best process them.

On the career or professional side of things, I'm working on various side projects with the goal of breaking free from the W-2. Choosing which project to focus on and where to invest my time requires a lot of clarity. I want to do something great with my life and career. I want to impact many people. I want to create a life for my family and kids that I'm proud of and that is well compensated.

I'm beginning to learn that writing has an amazing way of forcing us to really think through our ideas. When you have to put something into words, you discover what you actually believe.

Aside from the professional things going on in my life, I'm dealing with some really personal issues. I am coping with the soon-to-be loss of my dad. I am also deepening my faith in God and my testimony of Jesus Christ. These aren't side notes to my story but rather they're central to who I am.

That's why I'm creating this website, portfolio, and blog. You'll find a variety of my thoughts, but most importantly, this is a space for my own exploration and growth.

My goal isn't just to become a better communicator, though that's part of it. But I want to develop clear, well-thought-out views on my life.

To those reading, consider this an invitation to join me on my journey. To my future self, I hope this records my journey. It includes my successes, struggles, and lessons learned. If these posts help me gain clarity and learn from my own experiences, then that's success.
